Dairy-free mouhallabiyeh
Ingredients
500mL almond milk
2g agar agar
1 Tbs orange blossom water
2 Tbs maple syrup
2 Tbs crushed almonds or almond flakes
Method
Mix 100mL of the almond milk with the agar agar
Add the remaining 400mL to a pot and bring to a boil
Once it is boiling, add the almond milk and agar agar mix to the pot and keep whisking until it comes to a boil again
Once it is boiling again, remove from the heat, add the tablespoon of orange blossom water and whisk again
Fill two thirds of each ramekin with the mixture, let them cool down, then refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours
Before serving, drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with crushed almonds
